Collect and contribute 10 existing images to our communal archive (dropbox). We will have 110 images total from 11 classmates.
Using the images in the archive, design and edit your own project in any format relevant to your concept (books, performance, video, etc).
“Editing” here doesn’t mean editing images in Photoshop to create new imagery, but rather curating, sequencing and arranging the images to construct a narrative based on your concept. It is important not to alter the images because this will result in the loss of their original meaning.
Think about how the composition of the images, use of materials and typography treatments support and enhance the content and concept.
