Eleven Sons / Elf Söhne
Eleven Sons is a short story by Franz Kafka. It depicts the complaint of a father who is dissatisfied with the character and nature of each of his eleven sons. He describes each son's character in detail. In the eyes of his eleventh son he sees imminence coming upon the family that will finally cause it's destruction.
