Amorphous

by Zachary Rodriguez

The book is in a square format and centered the title to contrast the definition of amorphous. All of the text is in Helvetica, because it is a very known font and very identifiable. This also contrasts the book's meaning, along with its perfect binding. Inside the book reveals twenty-three spreads of imagery, randomly selected from the given class photos. Each spread uses four pictures. The images produced have no concept behind them. The text in each spread is made up of weird thoughts that come to mind when I studied the images. They do not play apart of the meaning of the image, but they may create a connection. The text is letter pressed to create a more amorphous look as the ink transferred is not always consistent. The main goal in this book is to have the viewer create their own conceptual connection about each spread, without there actually being one.
